Black Hawk is about 38 miles from downtown Denver and 61 from Denver International Airport. The drive takes about an hour from downtown in normal traffic, west through Golden and up Clear Creek Canyon on US-6, then up CO-119 to the old mining towns of Black Hawk and Central City at about 8,000 feet.
The canyon road is two lanes with tight curves, rock walls and no shoulder, and it is the drive home that makes people think twice: late at night, in the dark, often in snow, after a long evening at the tables. That is exactly the drive a chauffeur should do for you.
Black Hawk has the large resort casinos, Ameristar and Monarch among them, with hotels, spas and steakhouses. Central City, a mile up the road, is smaller and older, with Century Casino and the historic Main Street. We drop you at any casino door and pick you up whenever you are ready.
Most guests book an hourly chauffeur for an evening: pickup in Denver, dinner and gaming in Black Hawk, and home after midnight with no one at the wheel who has been drinking. Others book a one-way transfer to a casino hotel for the weekend and a return pickup a day or two later.
Celebrating? Birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties and anniversaries often end up in Black Hawk. Up to 6 guests ride in one SUV, and larger groups travel in more than one.
Clear Creek Canyon gets ice and snow in winter, and the road can close for rockfall or accidents. Our SUVs are all-wheel drive and meet Colorado traction law requirements, and when US-6 is closed we use the I-70 and Central City Parkway route instead. Your chauffeur checks conditions before you leave and before the drive home.
Two-lane canyon curves in the dark are the hardest part of the night. Let a chauffeur handle them.
Hourly bookings keep the chauffeur on call, so you set the end of the night, not a shuttle schedule.
Drop-off and pickup at Ameristar, Monarch, Century and the other casinos in both towns.

There are shared casino shuttles on fixed schedules. A private car leaves from your address when you want and brings you back when you decide the night is over, with no other stops.

You must be 21 or older to enter the gaming floor in Colorado casinos, so bring valid photo ID for everyone in the group.
Yes. Book a one-way transfer up and a separate return pickup, or a multi-day booking if you want the same chauffeur available throughout.
We take the alternative route on I-70 and the Central City Parkway, which adds some time but avoids the canyon. Your chauffeur checks road conditions before the trip and before the drive home.
It depends on the vehicle, the hours or route, and any add-ons. The total is shown before you confirm, with no surge pricing. Call (720) 388-3100 for a quote.
