Holiday lights season
Hourly, your own route
Guests per SUV
From late November into early January, Denver's big light shows sell out their evenings and their parking lots. The roads around the Botanic Gardens and City Park fill up, families circle for spaces, and small children get cold long before the walk back to the car.
A private holiday lights tour turns that into a relaxed evening. Your chauffeur picks you up at home or your hotel, drops you at the entrance of each show, waits nearby while you walk through, and has the SUV warm when you come back. Between stops you can see the neighborhood displays from the back seat.
It works for families with kids or grandparents, couples on a date night, visiting relatives and office holiday outings.
Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street is the best known, a walk through the gardens lit up with displays. It is about 3 miles from downtown. Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo in City Park is a few minutes away, so the two pair easily in one evening.
Trail of Lights at the Botanic Gardens' Chatfield Farms is a quieter walk of just under a mile through the foothills, about 19 miles southwest of downtown. Downtown itself has the lights on the City and County Building and around Civic Center, the Parade of Lights in early December, and the shops and lights of Larimer Square.
Most of these shows need timed tickets bought in advance. Book your tickets first, then the car, and tell us the entry times so we plan the route around them.
The weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas are the busiest nights of the season, for the light shows and for us. If you have a date in mind, reserve it early, and consider a weeknight: the shows are less crowded and the drive between stops is faster.
Dropped at each entrance and picked up there. No circling the lots around City Park or York Street.
The SUV is heated and waiting, which matters on a December night with children.
Blossoms of Light and Zoo Lights are minutes apart. Add downtown or neighborhood displays.
The route follows your ticket times, and you stay as long as you like at each stop.
Family, friends or colleagues in one Cadillac Escalade ESV, Yukon Denali or Suburban Premier.
Icy roads and dark December evenings are easier when someone else is driving.

There is a 3-hour minimum. One show plus a drive past neighborhood displays fits in 3 hours; two shows or a trip to Chatfield Farms usually takes 4 to 5.
Yes. Tell us how many children are coming and their ages when you book, so we can confirm the car seat arrangements Colorado law requires for young children.
